This lovely Victorian sardonyx cameo is set in a 14K yellow gold hand made frame. The high relief antique cameo is square shaped and is carved in the shape of a woman’s portrait. The woman is attired in Victorian era apparel. The piece is versatile and can be worn either as a pendant on a chain or as a brooch. In the pin configuration the piece measures 1 5/8” in height by 1 3/8” in width. With the bail extended for wear as a pendant, the piece’s height measures 1 7/8”. Circa: 1880. |
